Indo-African Student chapter organized plantation drive in Punjabi University, Patiala

To commemorate Indo-African friendship, the students in collaboration with Punjabi University Environment Society organized plantation drive at Gole Market on 24-06-2021.

Vice Chancellor Prof. Arvind inaugurated plantation in the presence of African and Indian students. The students from various African countries are studying in different departments of Punjabi University, Patiala. Most of the students are leaving to there countries after completion of there studies.

Indo-African Student chapter organized plantation drive in Punjabi University, Patiala. To remember there tenure here and to keep alive the Indo-African friendship forever, they were interested to plant trees in the university campus. Prof. Arvind appreciated this effort of African student and promised to organize this kind of plantation drive in future Tareken Jebessa Tesgera from Ethiopia, a student of Department of School of Management Studies promised that this is now their duty to take care of these plants every day.

Prof. Ranjit Kaur, Director International Students, Prof. Anupama, Dean Student Welfare, Dr. Inderjit Singh Chahal Provost (Boys), Dr. Ajita Provost (Girls)  and Dr. Kulvir Sing Badal particapted in this Event. Dr. Onkar Singh Brraich, General Secretary, Punjabi University Environment Society facilitated this Event.
