International Women’s Day celebrated at IET Bhaddal Technical Campus

International Women’s Day was celebrated in the IET Bhaddal Technical Campus Rupnagar with great enthusiasm and fervor. The UN theme for this year’s International Women’s Day is “DigitALL: Innovation and technology for gender equality”. The event was attended by students, faculty members, and staff who came together to celebrate the achievements of women and to pledge to work towards gender equality.
The event then proceeded with a series of activities including a debate competition, quiz, and poetry recitation, all centered around the theme of women empowerment. The students and faculty members actively participated in the events, and the atmosphere was filled with a sense of enthusiasm and encouragement.
On the occasion of event, Campus-Director Dr. S.S Bindra wished all the women a very happy International Women’s Day. He emphasized the importance of gender equality and how it is necessary for a society to prosper. He also spoke about the role of women in the development of society and encouraged everyone to appreciate and support the women in their lives.
The celebration culminated with a cultural program where the students put up a mesmerizing performance showcasing the various struggles and achievements of women in different spheres of life. The program was appreciated by everyone, and the Director congratulated the students for their efforts and commitment towards the cause of women empowerment.
