Today, union home minister Amit Shah is coming to Gurdaspur to address a public rally at the border district as part of his party’s public outreach to mark the completion of nine years of the Narendra Modi government.
Shah will highlight various achievements of the party-led government at the Centre.
Gurdaspur is represented by film actor Sunny Deol a BJP MP in the lok sabha.
Political Pundits are watching the move of Capt Amarinder Singh, who joined BJP last year. Capt Amarinder Singh, who last year joined the saffron party, is member of the state core committee.
All eyes are on Capt Amarinder Singh, whether he is going to attend Amit Shah’s rally at Gurdaspur or going to skip as he had done earlier.
On June 9,2023, union health minister Mansukh Mandviya came to Patiala, the home town of Capt Amarinder Singh, to address a public rally as part of his party’s public outreach to mark the completion of nine years of the Narendra Modi government. Capt Amarinder Singh skipped the rally.
When royalpatiala.in highlighted Capt Amarinder Singh absence in his home turf during BJP’s rally, a local BJP leader and Capt Amarinder Singh sympathizer called up the journalist and said “ He (Mansukh Mandviya) is not the level of leader for capt Amarinder Singh that’s why he didn’t attend today’s rally. But his daughter Jai Inder arranged , managed the rally.”
Few days later, BJP National president JP Nadda came to address a public rally as part of his party’s public outreach to mark the completion of nine years of the Narendra Modi government at Hoshiarpur on June 14,2023. Capt Amarinder Singh skipped that rally too.
It seems, JP Nadda is also not a ‘level’ leader for Capt Amarinder Singh.
