Justice Ravi Shanker Jha is Chief Justice of Punjab and Haryana High Court

President of India has appointed Justice Ravi Shanker Jha, Judge of the Madhya Pradesh High Court , as the Chief Justice of the Punjab and Haryana High Court with effect from the date he assumes charge of his office.
In another order Justice Ajai Lamba, Judge of the Allahabad High Court, to be the Chief Justice of the Gauhati High Court with effect from the date he assumes charge of his office.
Likewise Justice Puligoru Venkata Sanjay Kumar, Judge of the Telangana High Court has been appointed as a Judge of the Punjab and Haryana High Court. As per the orders issued by Rajinder Kashyap, Joint secretary to the Government of India, Ministry of Law and Justice, Justice Puligoru Venkata Sanjay Kumar is directed to assume charge of his office in the Punjab and Haryana High Court on or before 17th October 2019.
