Khalsa College starts 15 new self employment certificate courses

Surjit Singh Rakhra, the Hony Secretary of the college governing body, inaugurated 15 new self employment certificate courses. He said that it is a big step in the field of self employment, personality development and technical education. Rakhra also said that these types of courses not only provide opportunity to youth for earning their livelihood in their own country but also give them more chances to move ahead in their lives after receiving all the information regarding every field. Rakhra congratulated college Principal Dr. Dharminder Singh Ubha and the entire staff for this commendable effort. He appreciated his efforts towards the prosperity of the college.

College Principal Dr.Ubha said while giving the information regarding the new courses  that the main motives behind beginning these courses are to enable the youth to become efficient in different jobs with comparatively less expenditure, to develop the overall personality of the students and to provide them good moral values. Dr. Ubha also announced that the new courses are Sikh Adhean, Agriculture accounting, Personality Development, Folk Music, Folk Embroidery , Anchoring, Bakery and Confectionery, Office Automation, Web Development, Spoken English, Creative Writing, Translation proficiency in English, Pharmaceutical  Chemistry, Bee keeping(Apiculture) Solar Photo Voltic system design and installation . “The courses have been designed keeping in view the demand of the present time and the training of the students will be given by highly intellectual staff “said Dr. Ubha.

Khalsa College starts 15 new self employment certificate courses

The time period of these certificate courses would be three months (120 hours). The eligibility for the admission to these courses is 10+2 . The students can also take admission in these courses while doing under graduation, post graduation or can also take direct admission in these courses. Dr. Ubha also clarified that there will be no age limit for studying in these courses. The students are very enthusiastic about taking admission in these courses.
