Simranjit Singh said” in present time the youth were leaving the Punjabi language. If our children forget Gurmukhi, they will forget their history and will be unable to read and understand Guru Granth Sahib’s power. It is our duty to promote and publicise the Punjabi language.”

Delhi has a sizable number of Punjabi-speaking people and Punjabi is the second official language in the national capital. But the tragedy is that our young generation is not learning Punjabi language. Some of them can speak the language but they can’t read properly” said Simranjit Singh.

He is also spreading the awareness about the courses offered by Delhi University so that the residents can learn the language and take admission in short term courses.
