Mata Gujri College organises Photo Exhibition
Department of Journalism and Mass Communication of Mata Gujri College organized Photo Exhibition ‘You and Your Camera’ with the purpose to explore the creativity and imagination of the students. Dr. Kashmir Singh, Director Principal inaugurated the exhibition and said, “Photography not only satisfies the curiosity of the students but also provide a platform to explore their creativity and hidden talent.” He also appreciated the efforts of the students and motivated them to be a part of such creative activities.
The exhibition showcased the photographs on various themes like Nature, Animals, Plants, birds, Expressions, Reflection, Colours of Life, Culture and traditions etc. Prof. Reena Kaur Dhillon, Head, Journalism Department opined, “Photographs grab our attention and speak directly to our emotions. The creative “eye” is an integral part of photography. Great photographers are able to intuitively judge what makes for a great photograph and what should be done with lighting, composition and focus to make that vision a reality. .
On this occasion, Vice Principal (Academics) Dr. Rajinder Kaur, Prof. Gurparvesh Singh, Prof. Dilraj Singh, Prof. Kriti Talwar, Prof. Sukhdev Singh, Prof. Suman Sharma, staff members and students were present.
