The festival of Diwali was celebrated with great enthusiasm, joy and excitement at IET Bhaddal Technical Campus. The entire campus was beautifully decorated with strings of lights, colorful diyas and flowers, creating a vibrant and festive atmosphere all around.

In his message, the Campus Chairman, Tejinder Singh, extended Diwali greetings to all students and staff members, saying that Diwali symbolizes the triumph of light, truth and goodness. He emphasized that this festival should be celebrated with joy, love and togetherness—but without the use of firecrackers—to prevent environmental pollution and protect nature.

He appealed to everyone with the message: “Let every home celebrate Diwali, but not at the cost of nature.” To mark the occasion, various competitions were organized to highlight the creativity and talent of students. Events such as Rangoli, Mehndi and Diya Decoration were the main attractions of the celebration.

Students participated with great zeal and showcased their artistic skills. In the Rangoli competition, the team of Bhuvesh, Arshvir Kaur and Komalpreet Kaur secured the first position. In the Mehndi competition, Rajveer Kaur bagged the first prize, while in the Diya Decoration contest, the team of Kaushik, Chashima, and Anjali from the Pharmacy Department won first place for their creativity and innovative designs.

Addressing the gathering, Dr. S. S. Bindra, Registrar-cum-Director of the college, said that Diwali teaches us that the ultimate victory always belongs to truth and goodness. He felicitated the winning students with prizes and appreciated the efforts of all faculty members and student organizers for the successful conduct of the event.
