MGC Journalism & Mass Communication department celebrates Digital Lohri

Department of Journalism and Mass Communication of Mata Gujri College celebrated Digital Lohri in which the students of department participated enthusiastically.
Director Principal Dr. Kashmir Singh congratulated all the teachers and students on the occasion of Lohri festival and stressed on the need to celebrate festivals symbolizing unity and to be aware of their social, historical and cultural significance.
Head of the Journalism Department, Prof. Hargunpreet Singh, said that the department organized cultural quiz competitions related to Dulla Bhatti and Sundari Mundri in which the students of the department participated in large numbers.
Dali Singh Shah and Sukhdev Singh, students of MAJMC-I won first position, Amritpal Kaur of BAJMC-II and Amandeep Kaur of MAJMC-I jointly won the second position. Simranjit Kaur B.AJMC-II won third position respectively. Prof. Randeep Kaur, Prof. Dilraj Singh, Prof. Meenakshi, Prof. Jasmine Kaur, Prof. Bhagwant Singh and all the students from Journalism Department were present on the occasion.
