Mohindra College did yeoman service; converted waste dump area into green belt-Arti Verma

Agriculture Department of Government Mohindra College Patiala converted a waste dump area adjoining Agriculture Block into a green and beautiful area under Swachh Bharat scheme. Municipal Corporation Patiala assigned this task to college and students and faculty of Agriculture Department under the leadership of College Principal Dr Simrat Kaur transformed a dump area are into a beautiful surrounding.
The developed area was inspected by Arti Verma IPS, Senior Superintendent postal department Patiala and Dalip Kumar XEN Horticulture Patiala. They appreciated the collective endeavor by students and faculty of the agriculture department.
College Principal Dr Simrat Kaur informed Arti Verma IPS, Senior Superintendent postal department Patiala that in recognition of its contribution to higher learning the Govt. of India issued a commemorative Postage Stamp on Mohindra College on March 14, 1988.
