Bti employment bureau gives Police verification facility -ADC
Bathinda-Working hard towards achieving Ghar Ghar Rozgar (Employment to Every Household) goal of the Punjab government, the District Employment Bureau Bathinda is offering police verification facility to the employers who employee candidates from bureau.
Giving this information here today the brain behind this concept, Additional Deputy Commissioner (D) Sakshi Sawhney stated that the district administration offers police verification services for the selected candidates making it easier for the companies to employ them.
Reiterating government’s commitment towards providing employment to every household, she said that no stone is being left unturned to ensure maximum intake of candidates at various companies. In the month of April, 78 placements have been done through employment bureau. She added that many candidates though well-qualified, lack soft skills and personality development, thereby making them unemployable. To bridge this gap, free personality development classes are being offered to candidates. All these facilities will remain regular feature candidates.
She added that employment bureau offers free personality development classes, free handholding and counselling, free skill development opportunitiesย and free facilitation for jobs.ย She said that Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs) Bathinda Vikas Manch members had supported bureau to conduct these classes along with Punjab Skill Development Mission (PSDM).ย The bureau holds skill melas wherein organizations that have partnered under PSDM impart skill development guidance and classes tailored with the needs of candidates.
Candidates who are registered with bureau are counselled and in case they need skill development then the Employment Bureau and Punjab Skill Development Mission are facilitating these students in achieving skill training free of cost or at very nominal charges depending upon the type of course.
