Mohindra College felicitated students, faculty for participating in ‘Young People for Change Campaign’

Under the guidance of Prof Amarjit Singh , Principal Govt. Mohindra College , Patiala Youth Well-Being Programs were organised from 1 st Sept to 10 th Oct , 2023 to mobilize participation of students in 1.8 billion Young people for Change Campaign , coordinated by Partnership for Maternal, Newborn & Child Health (PMNCH) , the world’s largest alliance for Children, women and Adolescents health and well-being , hosted by World Health Organization based in Geneva.
7 days workshop on Multidimensional Framework of Youth well-being , Artificial Intelligence Based Chatbot Campaign , WYPW (What Young People Want ) Research Project , Digital Advocacy and Mohindra Youth Well-being Mobilization Camp were organised by the Department of Psychology to promote awareness about comprehensive well-being of young people and also motivated students to share their perspectives, demands and opinions through the WYPW Digital Chatbot Survey. The Faculty of the Department of Psychology : Dr Gurpreet Kaur Sandhu (HOD), Dr Akanksha Soni and Assistant Prof Amandeep Kaur mobilized participation of 2000 youth from Punjab in the 1.8 Billion Young People for Change Campaign and also received certifications from PMNCH for their exceptional commitment and invaluable contribution in the WYPW Global Campaign.
Mohindra College felicitated students, faculty for participating in ‘Young People for Change Campaign’. The Principal, Prof Amarjit Singh awarded certificates to the students and Faculty members in the Felicitation Ceremony organised on 4 th Dec, 2023 at Sabha Bhawan , Govt. Mohindra College , Patiala to recognise their creative contribution , commitment and overwhelming participation in the 1.8 billion Young People for Change Campaign for Holistic Well-being of Youth. The students and faculty of MA Psychology also attended the Global Forum for Adolescent 23, the virtual global meeting of young people across the globe conducted on 11 th and 12 th Oct , 2023 by PMNCH and also received attendee certificates.
