MRSPTU’s Scholar, Simran Chaurasia, Shines as Sole Indian Speaker at International Symposium

Simran Chaurasia, a dedicated PhD Scholar from Maharaja Ranjit Singh Punjab Technical University (MRSPTU), has garnered international acclaim as the sole Indian speaker at the 6th Symposium on Current Challenges in Skin Formulation, held in Nantes, France last week.
Simran’s journey from her university’s classrooms to the global podium is a testament to dedication, hard work, and remarkable achievement.
Under the guidance of Professor Amit Bhatia from the Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences & Technology, she showcased her prowess in the field of pharmaceutical sciences.
Adding to the honor, Simran Chaurasia received a full Travel Grant from the Science & Engineering Research Board (SERB), Government of India, recognizing her outstanding contributions. Her oral presentation at the symposium contributed valuable insights to the global discourse on skin formulation and technology.
MRSPTU, Vice Chancellor, Prof. Buta Singh Sidhu, and Registrar, Dr. Gurinder Pal Singh Brar, expressed their heartfelt appreciation, proudly announcing that the Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences & Technology now ranks among the top 100 pharmacy departments in India.
