Munshi Prem Chand Theatre Festival organized by NZCC

Munshi Prem Chand Theatre Festival is being organized by North Zone Cultural Centre, Patiala (Ministry of Culture, Government of India) at Kalidasa Auditorium, Virsa Vihar Kendra, Patiala from September 1 to 8, 2018.
The Play ‘Mantra’ was staged on the second day of the festival. The play was directed by Sumit Srivastava from Varanasi. The pillars of Mantra are its two main characters, Dr. Chadha, which represented the practical society and The second character the elderly Bhagat leads the people of the society who repay the evil only through good deeds.
Dr. Sunita Dhir, renowned theatre personality was the Chief Guest on the said occasion. She appreciated the efforts made by NZCC in the promotion of art and culture.
The show was very much appreciated by theatre personalities, artists and general public.
The North Zone Cultural Center is one of the seven cultural centers established in the country to strengthen the ancient roots of Indian Culture and evolve and enrich composite National Culture.
