NCC Cadets of Multani Mal Modi College shine at annual training camp at Ropar

Twenty cadets of NCC Army Wing of Multani Mal Modi College, Patiala participated in the combined Annual Training Camp (CATC) 86 held at Ropar NCC Academy June 17-26,2024. The cadets participated in various competitions and sports activities and stood first in the game ‘ Tug of War’ ,won second position in Volleyball match, bagged first position in solo song,  first position in Debate and second position in folk dance Bhangra in the camp.They also participated and performed well in skit, Bhand, Mime and Group song competitions.

College Principal Dr. Neeraj Goyal congratulated the cadets and ANO Lt. Dr. Rohit Sachdeva for their achievements and said that Modi college is committed for providing state of the art facilities to the students so that they may achieve success in their personal and professional lives.

Col. Sandeep Roy, the commanding officer of 5 PB BN NCC, praised the cadets for their hard work and said that discipline and commitment to nation building is the core of NCC and our cadets are doing wonderful work.

ANO Lt. Dr Rohit Sachdeva said that these achievements will inspire other students to join NCC and to take part in extracurricular activities. He said that during this training camp, cadets Jaskiran Singh, Krishnam Yaduvanshi, Chetan Kumar Sharma, Tug of war and Volleyball teams really performed very well.
