NITTTR  organized workshop on Covid 19 Management and Rural Business Model

A Workshop on “Covid 19 Management and Rural Business Model” was conducted through online mode by National Institute of Technical Teachers Training and Research (NITTTR), Chandigarh under Unnat Bharat Abhiyan on 17th August 2021. The workshop started with the inaugural address by Professor Poonam Syal, Head of Rural Development Department. The workshop briefing was given by the Dr Hemant Kumar Vinayak. Coordinator Regional Coordinating Institute UBA. The National Coordinating Institute invited the Posters and Videos from the students of participating institutions for competition at two level National and Regional level with the theme on Covid-19 Awareness, Importance of Vaccination, Importance of Healthy lifestyle, yoga, Meditation and Ayurvedic practices, Usage and disposable of protection items against covid-19, Importance of Physical Distancing, Home isolation and medication.

During the workshop the result of regional level Video and Poster Competition were announced. The Poster Competition Winners were First prize to Ramandeep Singh of Sri Guru Teg Bahadur Khalsa college Anandpur Sahib, Second Prize to Poonam Thakur of GGM Science College, Jammu and third prize to Shivam Bhadauria of Maharaja Ranjit Singh Punjab Technical University, Bathinda. The Video Competition winners were First Prize to Kiranpreet Kaur and Harpinkjot Kaur of Dev Samaj College for Women, Ferozepur, Second Prize to Jyot Sifat Kaur & Sonamdeep Kaur of Hans Raj Mahila Maha Vidyalaya, Jalandhar, Third Prize to Aarzoo Verma, MCM DAV College for Women chandigarh.

The workshop also included the expert talk by Jitendra Bhakane and Dr. Bhagyshri Bhakane Co-Founder Swanand Govigyan, Chhindwara, Madhya Pradesh on Rural Business Model – Opportunities through Govigyan and Panchgavya and it was appreciated by the participants. The workshop concluded with discussion on the roadmap for UBA activities in the coming 5 years.
