NSS Students pledged for Clean GOMCO Green GOMCO

Under the ongoing fortnight in Patiala on cleanliness drive, the medical students in Government Medical College Patiala under NSS (National Service Scheme) Unit today participated in clean institute campaign.
The medicos took pledge for Clean GOMCO Green GOMCO under Dr Avnish Kumar Director Research & Medical Education Punjab and college Principal Dr KK Aggarwal.
Speaking to the medicos’ volunteers, NSS Programme Officer Dr DS Bhullar said it is duty of each and every student to keep the Alama Mater clean and it is very important for our health as only a healthy student can become a good and successful doctor and contribute in the formation of a healthy society and nation.
The students showed great enthusiasm in cleaning drive. They were also sensitized to observe safety on roads and follow the traffic rules.
Presently more than 120 medical students have themselves enrolled as NSS volunteers in the college.
