Patiala District Voter Count Crosses 1500K; constituency wise data released

The voter lists of Patiala district have been finalized based on the eligibility date of 1 January 2025. Additional Deputy Commissioner (General) Isha Singal officially handed over the revised voter lists and CDs to representatives of political parties today.
Isha Singal shared that during the revision process, newly added voters, removed voters, and updated records across the district’s eight assembly constituencies brought the total voter count to 15,01,207. This includes 7,83,268 male voters, 7,17,877 female voters, and 62 transgender voters.
Providing detailed information about the assembly constituencies, she stated:
- In the Nabha constituency, the total number of voters is 1,87,288, comprising 97,446 male voters, 89,832 female voters, and 10 transgender voters.
- In the Patiala Rural constituency, the total voter count is 2,18,434, which includes 1,12,480 male voters, 1,05,946 female voters, and 8 transgender voters.
- The Rajpura constituency has a total of 1,80,233 voters, including 94,495 male voters, 85,733 female voters, and 5 transgender voters.
- Based on the 1 January 2025 eligibility date, the Ghanaur constituency has 1,64,068 total voters, with 88,070 male voters and 75,998 female voters.
- In Sanaur, the total voter count is 2,25,239, which includes 1,18,228 male voters, 1,07,004 female voters, and 7 transgender voters.
- The Patiala Urban constituency has 1,51,002 voters, comprising 77,501 male voters, 73,488 female voters, and 13 transgender voters.
- In the Samana constituency, the voter count is 1,89,464, including 98,671 male voters, 90,779 female voters, and 14 transgender voters.
- Lastly, the Shutrana constituency has a total of 1,85,479 voters, with 96,377 male voters, 89,097 female voters, and 5 transgender voters.
Patiala District Voter Count Crosses 1500K. Additional Deputy Commissioner (General), Patiala, Isha Singal added that the Election Commission of India has established four eligibility dates annually: 1 January, 1 April, 1 July, and 1 October. Accordingly, the next eligibility date is 1 April 2025. The meeting was attended by Election Tehsildar Vijay Kumar Chaudhary and representatives of various political parties.
