Patiala Management Association had organized an informative talk on “360 Degree Financial Planning & Asset Allocation” by certified financial planner and Regional Head Nippon India Mutual Funds Himashu Arora for the members, residents of the royal city Patiala. It was well attended by the members, guests at Hotel Montage.
Vaidya Manu Vats, President Patiala Management Association and his executive team welcomed the key note speaker Himanshu Arora. Sanjay Gupta, Secretary PMA delivered the welcome address.
Mukta Girdhar, executive member, PMA introduced the speaker and set the tone for the informative talk with his introductory remarks.
After this Himanshu Arora, a financial planner started his lecture on “360 Degree Financial Planning & Asset Allocation” and gave emphasis on investing by keeping certain goals in mind. He called it SMART goal strategy ( Specific , Measurable , Achievable , Relevent & Time Bound) . Goal based investment is ideal as there will be no distractions in between investment journey , and you will be clear about the tenure of your investment, here comes the role of power of compounding which is also called 8th wonder of the world .You can invest through Lumpsum as well as in SIP mode where small amount is debited from investors account and invested every month in equity or any other fund selected by the investor.
Himanshu Arora also gave emphasis on not keeping all the eggs in one basket And following the way of a asset allocation , for that he has discussed certain hybrid and multi asset allocation strategies which gives exposure to Indian equity, international equity, gold as well as debt instruments , hence completely diversifying investors portfolio for better investing experience.
