Patiala’s first 3-D lab at Police DAV Public School.

It was a red letter day in the history of Police DAV Public School, Patiala as the Inspector General of Police Patiala Zone, Amardeep Singh Rai inaugurated the Patiala’s First Three dimensional (3-D) lab in the school. The lab has been set up to impart quality education and to give clarity on the topics related to students of the school. The students can get three-dimensional pictures on various topics and can enhance their knowledge.

The lab has been set up by the joint efforts of the Police department and the school management. Police DAV Public school, Patiala feels honoured to have this lab first one in Patiala district.

Rai was given a floral reception by the staff and the students of the school. Various others eminent persons such as Dr.S.Bhoopathi (SSP Patiala) , Sharanjit Singh (SP, Head Quarters Fatehgarh Sahib), Satpal Sharma ( DSP HQ. Patiala)  also graced the occasion.

The whole campus bore a colorful look with school flags and art & craft things made by students. There was festivity in the air and students were filled with enthusiasm. The school choir presented the welcome song and mesmerized everyone with their enchanting voices. The school students also gave a brief about the ongoing activities of the school. The school Principal Meena Thapar took the dignitaries around the campus to show the progress of the school.

Rai inaugurated of the lab accompanied by the school manager, Dr. Rashmi Vij and Meena Thapar along with other prominent members of society. They witnessed the screening of the lab by wearing special glasses and were told how education is imparted to the students.

After that, the distinguished guests planted a sapling in the school campus in order to create awareness regarding saving environment among children.

On this occasion, Rai said that in today’s scenario stress should be laid on quality and practical education of children. He applauded the efforts of the staff and the school in this regard. He concluded by saying that quality education leaves a long lasting impression on a child’s mind and helps him to have a secure future.
