PCS association contributed to CM Relief Fund

Punjab Civil Services Association has contributed Rs. 11,29000 into the Punjab CM COVID Relief Fund. A delegation led by the Association’s President Rajiv Gupta handed over the check of Rs. 11.29 Lakh to the Principal Secretary to CM  Tejveer Singh in his office here today. Deputy Principal Secretary to CM  Gurinder Singh Sodhi was also present.

Urging the all its officers to voluntary contribute towards Punjab CM COVID Relief Fund to help the state government fight the Pandemic, Gupta said that COVID-19 has engulfed the entire world and has posed serious challenge for health and economic security of millions of people worldwide and it posed severe health and economic ramification in India too. The Association has been able to collect an amount of Rs. 11.29 Lakh as a contribution towards the CM COVID Relief Fund. This is in addition to the contribution made by various officers by the deductions in their salary towards COVID Relief Fund.

PCS Association assured that the PCS officers will not leave any stone unturned in fight against COVID-19 and will continue work tirelessly to combat this challenge.

Appreciating the Association for coming forward in fight against the deadly virus,  Tejveer Singh said that this is a good gesture of the PCS Association to express solidarity with the people of the state in this difficult time.
