Photo exhibition on 9 years of Governance and National Integration Day held at Govt Bikram College

A three-day program and photo exhibition is being organised by Central Communication Bureau Amritsar under the guidance of the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting,Government of India in coordination with district administration Patiala at Government Bikram College of Commerce,Patiala campus under the supervision and guidance of the College Principal Prof. (Dr) Kusum Lata from November 8 to 10,2023.
The program started with the College Principal welcoming Gurmeet Singh, Head PIB and CIC Amritsar, MIB India, the photo exhibition on 9 years of Governance and National Integration Day set up in the college campus showcases the achievements in the field of health, education and technology of the Nation in the recent times. The MIB is organising different programs to make people know about the different welfare schemes started by the Government of India. there were three artist groups empanelled by the MIB. The Poonam kala Manch depicted the ill effects of drugs through their song performance the Noor Nat Kala Kendra gave information about schemes like Sukanya Mudra,Ujwala through Nukkad Natak. Ibadat Ali Mehar group through an entertaining performance highlighted about Swachh Bharat Scheme of India.
Dr Jyoti introduced ways to save water, Dr Rekha Rani advocated the students and others present to be physically, mentally and socially fit Dr Rajni Bala talked about clean India and Dr. Jaspreet suggested ways for plastic waste Management.
There were drawing, essay and poster making competitions organised in the college on the topics of National integration, patriotism, save water,fit India,clean India and independent India. College students also gave their performance. Dr Ritu anchored the event. Gurmeet Singh , Head PIB and the College Principle awarded prizes to the winners of the different competitions held in the college. The college vice principal Dr Vaneeta Rani, Prof Ram Kumar and the speakers from the college were presented award of honour by the department.

The photo exhibition and the performance by the different artist gave message in a very informative and entertaining method.The other present were Dr Paramjit Kaur, Satinder kaur, Dr Amrinder Kaur ,Dr Tarndeep Kaur, Gazal Aggarwal, Jasmine Kaur along with office staff and students.
