Police DAV public school virtually celebrated World postal day

To mark the occasion a special virtual assembly was conducted by Police DAV Public School Patiala today wherein students of classes 4 to 8 participated enthusiastically. Harsimrat Kaur, Marketing Executive, Postal department, Rajpura was the special guest in the meeting.
Suhani of class 4 delivered a speech highlighting the importance of the Postal department in making a country strong. She explained that Postal department is not only used as a communicative medium but it also contributes in raising the economy of a country.
The school organised a Stamp designing competition in this regard. Students drew different stamps and won accolades from everyone. Harmeen Kaur from class 6 and Ekampreet Kaur &Suhani Rathour from class 7 stood first.
Also a special Presentation was shared by Harsimrat Kaur wherein she explained the functioning of the postal department. She also responded to the queries put up by the curious students.
On this occasion, the school principal MeenaThapar thanked Harsimrat Kaur for sparing her precious time for the students and sharing such valuable information with them. She also applauded the efforts of the students and congratulated the winners of Stamp designing competition. She further motivated them to participate more and more in such competitions so as to enhance their skills. She wished everyone a bright future.
