Emphasizing the importance of celebrating these festivals as a symbol of lights, she urges everyone to ensure it remains a “Green Diwali” by avoiding the use of polluting firecrackers.
Sawhney encourages residents to prioritize environmentally friendly practices, endorsing the use of green firecrackers in alignment with Punjab Government guidelines. Expressing concern over escalating pollution levels, she highlights the need to safeguard the well-being of children.
