Politician’s love for free govt vehicle comes to fore; former minister fails to return back the vehicle

Politicians love for govt facilities are an open secret. The latest example comes to fore, former deputy chief minister of Punjab Sukhjinder Singh Randhawa fails to return his official Innova Crysta Top Model even after the aam admi party (AAP) government formed in Punjab on March 10,2022.

After waiting for around 48 days, today, the state transport department has issue an official letter to former deputy chief minister and state home minister Sukhjinder Singh Randhawa to return back his official Innova Crysta Top Model. The letter further added that a transport department will issue him another vehicle, as per his entitlement.

When contacted the additional state transport commissioner Amarbir Singh,PCS he confirmed that “the state transport department has issued a letter to former deputy chief minister Sukhjinder Singh Randhawa. After receiving the letter, former deputy chief minister Sukhjinder Singh Randhawa has sent back the official vehicle back to the department.”

In 2022, Sukhjinder Singh Randhawa of Indian National Congress won the seat by defeating Ravikaran Singh Kahlon from Shiromani Akali Dal with a margin of 466 votes.
