Pro Students Initiative: Sri Guru Granth Sahib World University Signs MoU with Sanjhi Sikhya Foundation

Sri Guru Granth Sahib World University, Fatehgarh Sahib, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Sanjhi Sikhya Foundation (SSF), a leading non-profit organization in Punjab dedicated to educational reform and community development. During a press briefing, Vice-Chancellor Prof. (Dr.) Prit Pal Singh stated that the agreement will provide a framework for mutual learning, capacity building, and joint projects between the two institutions, thereby promoting overall social and educational development at the state level.
Under this collaboration, the University students will have opportunities for internships, grassroots community participation, and research in Punjab’s social sector. Joint initiatives will include training programs, workshops, community-based education models, and Institutional Social Responsibility (ISR) projects.
Prof. (Dr.) Sukhwinder Singh Billing, Dean Academic Affairs of the University, remarked that this partnership will offer valuable experiences to the students and enable the University to make meaningful contributions toward grassroots development in Punjab.
Representing the Sanjhi Sikhya Foundation, Gurjeet Singh Sandhu, Managing and Marketing Head, said that by working together with Sri Guru Granth Sahib World University, they aim to combine academic knowledge with ground-level experience to address significant educational and community challenges in the state. The MoU will remain in effect for three years, with both institutions committed to creating a comprehensive and impactful model for educational and social change in Punjab.
Dr. Ankdeep Kaur Attwal, Coordinator of the University’s IQAC Cell; Dr. Hardev Singh, Dean, Faculty of Sri Guru Granth Sahib Studies; and senior members of the Sanjhi Sikhya Foundation were present on the occasion.
