Procurement agencies staff announces complete boycott of wheat procurement

Today, the inspectors of all the state procurement agencies, namely Pungrain, Punsup, Markfed and Punjab warehousing corporation announces a complete boycott the wheat procurement process in the Bathinda district over the alleged false suspension of procurement agency inspector Bhupinder Singh.
A meeting was held in which all the inspectors of Pungrain, Punsup, Markfed and Punjab warehousing corporation unanimously decided to boycott the procurement till the reinstatement of inspector Bhupinder Singh is not done.
As per the spokesperson of the inspectors of Pungrain, Punsup, Markfed and Punjab warehousing corporation, inspector Bhupinder Singh is falsely suspended by the department. He was doing his duty sincerely at a procurement centre, Chauke in Bathinda district and was suspended without any of his fault and enquiry.
