PSPCL’s hardworking, disciplined technocrat assumes charge as Chief Engineer South zone (Patiala)

Recently elevated Chief Engineer of Punjab State Power Corporation Limited (PSPCL), Er. Des Raj Bangar has joined as Chief Engineer of distribution South zone of Punjab State Power Corporation Limited here today.

Er. Des Raj Bangar joined PSPCL erstwhile PSEB as A.E. in 1992 and rose to the level of Chief Engineer.

Er. Des Raj Bangar born in 1968, did Bachelor of Engineering from Thapar Institute of Technology Patiala in 1990 and joined textile industry as assistant electrical engineer. Then after joining PSPCL erstwhile PSEB as A.E. in 1992, during his more than 31 years of service, he served on various important assignments of hydro generation and distribution wings of PSPCL. He is known as disciplined, honest and hardworking officer. He has rich experience and vast knowledge of generation and distribution sector.

In a message to the officers/ officials of South zone, he said that his priority would be to provide un-interrupted and reliable power supply to power consumers, aware consumers about the benefits of recently launched OTS scheme, listen and solve the grievances and complaints of consumers by personal contact program, as per directions of CM Punjab under SARKAR AAP KE DUAR and to implement zero tolerance for corruption, as per directions of CM Punjab by Power Minister of Punjab under the able guidance of top management of PSPCL.
