Punjab congress re-inducts expelled former MLA in party fold

Punjab Pradesh Congress Committee (PPCC) has revoked the suspension of its ex MLA Pirmal Singh.

Capt Sandeep Sandhu, general secy, PPCC has issued the revoking of suspension orders and reinstatement of primary membership of Pirmal Singh on the recommendation of party state president Amarinder Singh Raja Warring.

He has been requested to join the party activities and contribute towards the electioneering process of the party. He has been assigned party candidate from Sangrur, Sukhpal Singh Khaira.

Punjab congress re-inducts expelled Ex MLA in party fold

In 2017, Pirmal Singh was elected as an MLA Bhadaur from the Aam Aadmi Party ticket, but left the Aam Aadmi Party with Sukhpal Singh Khaira in 2021 and joined the Congress.

In June 2022, taking strict cognizance of ‘anti-party’ activities, Punjab Pradesh Congress chief Amarinder Singh Raja Warring had expelled former MLA Pirmal Singh Dhaula from the party due to anti-party activities.
