Bhakra Beas Management Board (BBMB) gets a new member power
Appointments committee of the cabinet has approved the current duty charge of member Power BBMB to Harpreet Singh Manocha, chief engineer, BBMB for the period of six months
Manocha is presently working as Chief Engineer (System Operation), BBMB.
Manocha replaces Jagjit Singh, a Chief Engineer with the Bhakra Beas Management Board (BBMB), who was appointed as the Member (Power) in July 2024 for a six-month term or until further orders.

Bhakra Beas Management Board (BBMB) is dedicated to the service of nation and is engaged in regulation of the supply of Water & Power from Bhakra Nangal and Beas Projects to the states of Punjab, Haryana, Rajasthan, Himachal Pardesh, Delhi and Chandigarh.
