Punjab govt cancelled Medical Officer (Dental) written test

Punjab chief secretary Vini Mahajan has informed that the “written test for the post of Medical Officer (Dental) under Govt of Punjab held on 11.10.2020 stands cancelled”.The test was conducted by Baba Farid University of Health Sciences ,Faridkot.
She tweeted that “The written test for the post of Medical Officer (Dental) under Govt of Punjab held on 11.10.2020 stands cancelled. The written test is rescheduled for 22.10.2020. The fresh admit card for the examination shall be uploaded on the university website http://bfuhs.ac.in”
Baba Farid University of Health Sciences ,Faridkot had conducted the written test for recruitment in the state Health Department at various centres in the state on Sunday (October 11). Around 11,000 candidates appeared for 500 posts of medical officers (general), 35 posts of medical officers (dental) and 482 posts of pharmacists.
Baba Farid University of Health Sciences ,Faridkot has taken this step after the reports of paper leakage was reported. As per the available information the written test started when about 1 hour and 20 minutes into the starting of the test, the question paper for the medical officer (dental) test went viral on social media. The test had started at 11 am.
Amidst the controversies, Baba Farid University of Health Sciences ,Faridkot on Monday declared the result of medical officer (general) , pharmacists and withheld the result of medical officer (dental) test. Today late evening the state government cancelled the written test and gave new date for written test.
