Punjab govt withdraw health officials from RRT; other departments staff to perform RRT duties

Punjab health and family welfare additional chief secretary Anurag Aggarwal IAS has ordered the withdrawal of health officials deputed in Rapid Response Teams (RRT), with immediate effect, due to surge in the Covid 19 cases in Punjab.
He ordered the deputy commissioners of Punjab to depute other officials from other departments in the Rapid Response Teams , for its smooth functioning too.
A rapid response team (RRT), also known as a medical emergency team (MET) .Rapid Response Teams are formed to curb the potential spread of the deadly covid-19, a coronavirus.
