Punjab SSP awarded with maiden prestigious Home Minister medal

Ashwini Gotyal, IPS, senior superintendent of police (SSP) Khanna police district has been awarded with “Kendriya Grihmantri Dakshata Padak” for the year- 2024 in the Investigation Field. The medal is announced on October 31,2024.
The Home Ministry has awarded 463 personnel with “Kendriya Grihmantri Dakshata Padak” for the year- 2024 in the field of Special Operation, Investigation and Forensic Science .
The Kendriya Grihmantri Dakshata Padak was instituted by the Ministry of Home Affairs on 1st February this year. The Ministry said, the medal will be announced every year on the occasion of the Birth Anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel on 31st of October. The award will be conferred on members of the Police Forces, Security Organization, Intelligence Wing, National Security Guard in consideration for excellence in Operations, exceptional performance, indomitable and daring intelligence service.
