Punjabi University again in limelight; now students, admission seekers suffers; results website not working

Punjabi University seems to have a strong bond, relations with controversies as one ends, other begins. Now, the latest one is, its ‘results website’ as it is not working since past some days.
As per available information, the results website of Punjabi University https://results.pupexamination.ac.in/t8/ is not working for some days.
“This is an admission season and the students need results and other information on timely basis. We are suffering a lot and the university authorities are taking it in casual manner” said a student of the university who wants to peruse higher studies but waiting anxiously for the website to function properly.
As per unconfirmed reports, “the university results website might be hacked , but no one is saying anything on this issue. Moreover results not getting declared on time, thus students’ career spoiled. Re-evaluation results are not declared on time and thus, lots of harassment for students”
When contacted the controller examination of Punjabi University, Prof Neeraj Sharma, who himself is a computer science department faculty member, said “the website is on updation mode and everything will ok by today itself.”
When asked why the website is not working for past some days and moreover why the university decided to update the website on admission times and working days, he said “ I’ll check and the same and get back to you. It will be ready by today itself”
