Spiritual Club and EVOLVE Club Chandigarh Collaborate for Session on “How to Control Mind for a Better Future”

The Spiritual Club of Punjabi University Patiala, Department of Computer Science & Engineering, in collaboration with the EVOLVE Club Chandigarh, organized a thought-provoking session titled “How to Control Mind for a Better Future.” The event was honored by the presence of Chief Guest Prof. (Dr.) Manjit Singh Patterh, with Dr. Himanshu Aggarwal, Head of the Department, Dr. Lakhwinder Kaur, the  Club Coordinator and Dr. Gaurav Gupta Club Co Coordinator, playing key roles in its organization.
The session’s keynote speaker, Radheysham Sharma, a technologist and youth development enthusiast with an M.Tech. degree in Computer Science and Engineering from IIT Roorkee, delivered an impactful talk. He highlighted the importance of mental control and shared strategies to enhance focus and resilience, crucial for personal and professional success.

Prof. (Dr.) Manjit Singh Patterh, in his address, emphasized the need for mental discipline in shaping a prosperous future. He lauded the collaborative effort between the Spiritual Club and EVOLVE Club Chandigarh, recognizing the significance of such initiatives in fostering holistic student development.

Dr. Himanshu Aggarwal appreciated the session’s relevance and encouraged students to integrate the lessons learned into their lives. The event also witnessed active participation from faculty members including Dr. Jaswinder Singh, Dr. Kanwalpreet Singh Atwal, Dr. Gurjit Singh Bathal, Dr. Abhinav Bhandari, Dr. Dhavleesh Rattan and Er. Amrit Kaur, Er. Anantdeep Kaur who supported the initiative.

The session concluded with a vote of thanks by Dr. Gaurav Gupta, expressing gratitude to the Chief Guest, speaker, and all participants for their contributions. The event marked another step forward in the Department of CSE’s mission to support both the academic and personal growth of its students.
