Punjabi University Environment Society organised Nukkad Nataks in collaboration with Punjab State Council for Science and Technology, Chandigarh.
Dr. Onkar Singh Brraich, Head, Deptt of Zoology and Environmental Sciences, Punjabi University said that these nukkad nataks were played on Seven themes of Mission LiFE in various places of District Sangrur today i.e. 21-04-2025 like Govt. High School, Satoj, School of Eminence, Chhajli and Govt Ranbir College, Sangrur.
The objective of Nukkad Nataks is to generate awareness under 7 themes of Mission LiFE i.e. Save Energy, Save Water, Say No to Single Use Plastics, Reduce E-Waste, Adopt Sustainable Food Systems, Reduce Waste and Adopt Healthy Lifestyle among the students of Colleges, Schools and village folks. Overwhelming response was shown by the students and faculty members.
