KYC of Vice Chancellor of Punjab’s Technical university; Govt appoints management expert as second VC

Punjab government has appointed Dr Sushendra Kumar Misra as the second vice chancellor of Beant Singh State University, Gurdaspur offering engineering courses for a period of three years.
Presently Dr. S K Mishra is working with IK Gujral Punjab Technical University, Kapurthala as Registrar, Director-IQAC, Head-Center for Executive Education, Head- Human Value and Professional Ethics. He was appointed as the 17th Registrar of I.K. Gujral Punjab Technical University (IKGPTU) in 2022. Earlier, Dr. Mishra was looking after the additional charge of the post of Registrar in the University

D. in Management. He did his graduation from Lucknow in 1992. Later he did his masters M.Com, MBA and than Ph.D
Dr S K Mishra has more than 25 years of experience in the field of Academic Administration, Educational Planning and Management, Financial Management, Training & Development, Human Resource Management, Public Policy, Skill Development, Research and Consultancy etc.
Dr. Mishra has worked at National Institute of Technology, Jalandhar and IK Gujral Punjab Technical University and performed various duties Registrar, Director-IQAC, Dean, Head- Center of Executive Education, Controller of Finance, Director, Finance Officer, Head of Department at IK Gujral Punjab Technical University, Kapurthala.
Dr. Misra has published Research articles, Books, Patent and projects. He has participated in conferences, seminars workshop and training in India and abroad. He has visited so many countries like Malaysia, Thailand, Australia, Slovenia, Singapore, Austria, USA etc.
Dr. Misrha is a Life Member of All India Management Association (AIMA), New Delhi, Indian Society for Technical Education (ISTE), New Delhi, Youth Hostels Association of India, New Delhi, Association of Indian Management Scholars International (AIMS), Houston, USA, Associate Fellow of World Business Institute, Australia and Member of International Economic Development Research Center, Hong Kong.
About the University:
Sardar Beant Singh State University, Gurdaspur was established by the Govt. of Punjab as an autonomous Institution through registered society. The foundation stone was laid on February 28,1994 and the college was inaugurated on August 20,1995 by the Chief Minister Late Sardar Beant Singh
