Rayat College of Law Railmajra near Rupnagar hosted an enlightening Orientation Programme to welcome the fresh batch of B.A./B.Com.LL.B. (Hons.) (5 Year) students. In the event  both students and faculty gathered to kickstart an incredible academic journey.

The day began with the ceremonial lighting of the lamp, symbolizing the start of something bright and promising. Dr. Monika Sharma, the Principal of Rayat College of Law, set the tone with a motivating speech, urging the newcomers to embark on their legal careers with unwavering passion.

A distinguished guest, Harsimar Singh Sitta, Deputy Advocate General, Punjab, shared invaluable insights from his experience in the legal field. His words resonated deeply, motivating the students to reach for the stars in their legal pursuits.

The highlight of the program was the address by the esteemed Chief Guest, Dr. Sandeep Singh Kaura, Advisor NSDC, Govt. of India, and Chancellor, LTSU, Punjab. Dr. Kaura shed light on the latest government policies and the evolving landscape of the legal field. He encouraged students to blend technical skills with legal knowledge, setting the stage for a multidisciplinary approach to their studies.

Ajitabh Mishra, Assistant Professor in Law, emphasized the importance of self-discipline. He covered crucial topics such as Rules of Conduct and Discipline, Academic and Evaluation Schemes, and Scholarship Opportunities.

Adv. Shailesh Aggarwal, Student Resource Development Manager at RCL, inspired students with a glimpse into the multitude of opportunities awaiting them upon graduation.

Heartfelt thanks were extended to the Guest of Honor, Chief Guest, organizing teachers (Ajitabh Mishra and  Dr Sohnu ), and student coordinator Khushi Bhatia . The day continued with an array of engaging non-formal activities, including games for both students and parents Dr Mohinder Singh, Dr Akashdeep Singh Chaudhary.Dr Manish Kumar and other faculty members and new admitted students were present on the occasion.
