Rotary District 3090 (RID 3090) is proud to announce its significant contributions towards Punjabi University, Patiala, as part of its commitment to fostering positive change in the community. District Governor Ghanshyam Kansal expressed his elation at the opportunity to contribute to an institution that has been transforming the educational landscape in the region, especially in rural areas. He also expressed the district’s enthusiasm for further collaboration with this iconic university.

Prof. Arvind, Vice Chancellor of Punjabi University, warmly welcomed District Governor Kansal’s generous gesture and emphasized the significance of civil society’s involvement in the overall development of higher education institutions.

In a remarkable step towards promoting hygiene and women’s well-being, Rotary International District 3090 donated three Sanitary Pad Destroyer Machines to Punjabi University, Patiala. This charitable contribution was made possible through the kind cooperation and support of DG Ghanshyam Kansal..

The official handover ceremony took place yesterday at the university campus, underscoring RID 3090’s unwavering commitment to addressing critical hygiene issues. These machines are designed to facilitate safe and eco-friendly disposal of sanitary napkins, contributing to a cleaner and healthier environment.
