Rupnagar DC conducts checking of govt offices

Rupnagar Deputy Commissioner Dr Preeti Yadav conducted checking of the government offices at the District Administrative Complex here on Monday.
Dr. Preeti Yadav visited the offices and checked the attendance of the officers and employees and directed that no slack should be left in the provision of government services to the general public and special attention should be given to the elderly and women in the offices.
Deputy Commissioner also asked the staff to take special care of cleanliness in the district administrative complex. She directed the officers and employees to reach their offices on time and the public dealing employees should sit in their seats for maximum time and do public works.
Rupnagar DC conducts checking of govt offices. He said that the Punjab government was running public welfare schemes and programmes under various departments for which an awareness campaign should be launched and the schemes should be explained to the people in a simple manner.
