Ebullience spread in the air as the Ryan International School Patiala solemnized its 16th Annual Montessori Graduation – Cum- Annual Day to elevate the Ryanites to the next level of education, a pioneering idea conceptualized by Dr. A.F. Pinto (Chairman, Ryan International Group of Institutions) and Dr. Grace Pinto (MD, Ryan International Group of Institutions). This year the theme for the ceremony was – Sow Good Seeds for A Brighter Tomorrow.

The Annual Day was graced by an array of eminent guests Dr. Jagpreet Kaur(HOD Edu. Dept. Pbi. Uni.), Dr. Malkeet Singh Maan(Asst. Director, NSS Mohali), Rajesh Sharma (CO 3rdPunjab Air Squadron NCC Patiala), Rajbir Singh (Chief Officer, Maritime Pvt. Ltd Chennai),Dr. Rajneesh Talwar DEAN,DICE(Dept. of Interdisciplinary Courses in Engineering at Chitkara University),Dr. Divneet Singh Kapoor(Asst. Dean, Industrial Relations, Chandigarh University,Asst.Prof. Bal Kishan(Physics & Incharge Sr. Sec. Model School, Pbi. Uni.), Dr. Shampy Aggarwal MD (Pathology), Dr. Sailaesh Aggarwal (MD- Medicine), Davinder Attri(DSP, Punjab Police)and were warmly welcomed by the Principal Mrs. Pooja Sharma along with the School Council.

The little ones proved it true with different forms of mesmerizing thematic dances depicting different countries around the world. The cultural program enthralled everyone and the audience was awestruck with the talent and skill revealed in the cultural, patriotic and acrobatic performances. There were feet tapping Dances and a thoughtful Musical Skit – ‘There’s a Sunflower in My Supper’based on the theme of the show ‘“Sow good seeds for a brighter tomorrow”.

Well-coordinated and energetic Orchestra Performance by the students of Std III – VIII won the hearts of the audience and the enthralling compering weaved the entire culture into a wreath of celebration. The most craved events were the – “The Graduation Ceremony (Mont 3), the Ryan Achiever Awards Distribution (Mont to Std 5) and Prince-Princess Awards (Mont to Std XI).

Emotions overwhelmed the parents on seeing their little one’s touching the first milestone of their academic journey when Mont III students proudly donned the convocation gowns, caps and received the ‘Scrolls of Merit’ from the esteemed guests.This was followed by the Prize Distribution Ceremony wherein the students with exceptional skills in fourteen categories were facilitated with the awards by the Guests of Honour.

The titles of Ryan Prince and Ryan Princessof Mont. to Std IX & XI were conferred to Mst. Japraj Singh (XIC), Ms. Manrattan Kaur (XIB), Mst. Manjot Singh (IXB), Ms. Avreet Maanshahia (IXC), Mst. Abhiraj Mehsempuria (VIIIC), Ms. Ishmeet Kaur (VIIIB), Mst. Ananveer Singh (VIIA), Ms. Diya Behal (VIIB), Mst. Hitesh Goyal (VIB), Ms. Ramanjot Kaur (VIB), Mst. Rohan Salhotra (VC), Ms. Deepika Girdhar (VC), Mst. Amber Singh (IVB), Ms. Savreen Kaur (IVA), Mst. Saatvik Ahluwalia (IIIA), Ms. Kanan Sandeep Gite (IIIB), Mst. Vedansh (IIA), Ms. TanaazZakhmi (IIB), Mst.Shehbaaz Singh (IB), Ms. Pranjal (IA), Mst. Varnit Pathak (MIIIA) and Ms. Sherlyn Kaur (MIIIA).

Ryan students enthusiastically participated in annual montessori graduation-cum-annual day function. The show concluded with the moral that by being dutiful a common citizen can reflect patriotism and collectively contribute for a big change in society, by following the theme ““Sow good seeds for a brighter tomorrow”. The Guests of Honour and the School Principal,  Pooja Sharma appreciated the hard work put in by all the participants and congratulated the award winners and their proud parents.
