School Students’ Council Ceremony solemnized at DAV Patiala

To commemorate a solemn occasion where all the young students are prepared to don the mantle of leadership and discharges the responsibilities entrusted upon them by the school. DAV Public School, Patiala organized its School Students’ Council Ceremony to acknowledge the budding young leaders and reposed the trust in them.
The auspicious day commenced with the floral welcome of the Chief Guest Mr. Baljot Singh Rathore, DIG GRC Patiala alongwith his better half Parvinder Rathore by Principal Vivek Tiwari along with Ms. Anu Tiwari and members of staff. The Caravan proceeded with the Lighting of Lamp of Knowledge After this, newly elected Activity Incharges (External & Internal) Akanksha Garg & Romita Gupta, House Marshals – Rajneet Kaur, Kuldeep Kaur, Shaveta Anand & Asha Rani.
School Students’ Council – Head Boy, Head Girl, Vice Head Boy, Vice Head Girl, General Secretary, House Captains, Vice House Captains, Sport Captain, Sports Prefect, Cultural Secretary, Schools’ Best Friend, School Volunteers took an oath to strive hard to keep up the glory of the house and institution and the values for which DAV stands was administered by Internal Activity In-charge Romita Gupta. It followed with the Medley presented by melodious singers of DAV won every heart. The day was also auspicious because on this day the previous House Council was awarded for their meritorious services for the school. The Chief Guest while addressing the gathering and going down the memory lane he shared many experiences from his school days he quoted that he feels immense pleasure on being in DAV premises and feels joyous on seeing young generation climbing new heights , he also appreciated the efforts made by the school for forming the school council and training them for life skills , he appreciated the national and state achievers of the school .
School Students’ Council Ceremony solemnized at DAV Patiala. Principal Vivek Tiwari congratulated the achievers and motivated the newly formed Council to abide and sweat for the upcoming session. Neera Khurana, Senior Co-ordinator presented the Vote of Thanks. The programme concluded with the National Anthem.
