Senior Secondary Model School , Punjabi University, Patiala Athletic Meet culminated

47th Athletic Meet and Prize Distribution Function of Senior Secondary Model School, Punjabi University Patiala culminated today. Dr. Sanjeev Puri, Registrar and Dr Balraj Saini ,Dean College Development Council were the Chief Guests while Dr. Parmod Aggarwal, Finance Officer, Dr. Raman Maini, Director UGC-MMTTC and Dr. Regina Maini, Senior Medical Officer were the guests of honour .
Randhawa Singh, Principal Govt .Senior Secondary School , Bahadurgarh and Arvind Saini, Campus Incharge, Bahadurgarh graced the occasion.
It was the two day Event during which 72 Track events and 15 field events were held.
Gurveerditta Singh and Diya of +1 Arts were declared best athletes among boys and girls respectively.
Baba Fateh Singh House won the overall trophy.
Dr Puri ,Registrar appreciated the efforts made by the Principal and the staff in organising the event.
Dr Balraj Saini said the school children are the future of our country and their overall development is the need of hour.
Dr Raman Maini said there should be balance between the academics and the sports for the holistic development of children.
Dr Parmod Agarwal said attending such a wonderful event reminds us of our childhood memories.
Dr Regina Maini encouraged the students to participate in sports and cultural activities alongwith studies.
Satvir Singh, Principal thanked all the guests and the staff for making the meet successful.
The event was attended by the teachers, staff , students and parents.
