Seriously ill woman airlifted from Lahaul on CM’s intervention

Immediately after receiving information from Lahaul-Spiti MLA Ravi Thakur, Chief Minister Thakur Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu instructed to airlift Padma Dechin, a resident of village Chhaling under Udaipur Sub-division of tribal district of Lahoul-Spiti to civil hospital, Kullu today as she was seriously ill and required immediate specialized medical attention.
The district administration ensured compliance of the Chief Minister order without wasting any time. Now, Padma Dechin is being treated at Kullu hospital, under the supervision of specialists.
Since she needed to be rushed to Kullu for treatment and the roads are blocked due to heavy snowfall in the valley, the local MLA sought intervention of the Chief Minister. After his directions, the district administration immediately arranged a helicopter.
