Sikh Museum inaugurated at Gurudwara Dukhniwaran Sahib

Shiromani Gurudwara Parbhandak Committee (SGPC) President Gobind Singh Longowal inaugurated a Sikh Museum Gallery at Gurudwara Dukhniwaran sahib, Patiala.
After inaugurating the Sikh Museum, Longowal along with others visited the museum and watched the paintings installed at the museum. He said “The Sikh history has a rich background and full of sacrifices. The Shiromani Gurudwara Parbhandak Committee (SGPC) is making an efforts for spreading awareness about its rich culture. “
He further said that it was important to have Sikh museums in all grudwaras as this will help in informing the new generation and others about the culture, history, sacrifice, significance, philosophy of Sikhism”.
The museum has depicted the history of Sikhism in the forms of paintings.
Longowal, on Kartarpur Corridor said that there was a new ray of hope in the Sikh community with this initiative. This had been possible due to the interest shown by both Indian and Pakistani government, keeping in mind the sentiments of Sikhs. He said both the nations will benefit from the corridor.
Later he went to Nabha to inaugurate a Park at Gurudwara Baba Ajapal Sahib. He also visited Gurudwara Chubara Sahib at Chhitanwala.
