Senior superintendent of police (SSP) of Patiala Vikramjeet Duggal is now a days busy in an extraordinary task-revamping of district police.
After assuming the charge of district police, Duggal changes the sub division level police staff. He replaces the police personnel from SHO to sepoy level.
Today he took a major decision; he merged the CIA staff of Nabha, Samana, Rajpura, and Patiala-2 to CIA Staff Patiala. Now only CIA staff Patiala will exist and no CIA staff will function at sub division level, as per earlier practice. CIA staff Patiala will work from district headquarter and will operate from here only.
SSP said that for the smooth functioning of the CIA staff, 20 teams have been formed to deal with various cases to make the crime detection process more efficient. These teams would keep a close watch on all the illegal activities taking place within the district and take stern action against the culprits involved in illegal activities.
As per the latest orders, issued today, he has transferred the 33 Patiala police personnel’s, from CIA Nabha, Smana, Rajpura, Patiala-2 to CIA Staff Patiala.
