Start of new academic session- World University organised ‘Ardaas Samagam’

On the occasion of Gurpurab of Sri Guru HarKrishan Sahib Ji and the commencement of new academic session 2019-20, ‘Ardaas Samagam’ was organised and ‘kadah parshad’ was served at the Sri Guru Granth Sahib World University.
The entire staff and students of the University contributed with exuberance for the event. On this occasion the students of the University initiated the “Green University Campus” drive dedicated to 550th anniversary of Parkash Purab of Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji and Gurpurab of Sri Guru HarKrishan Sahib Ji. The students undertook the responsibility and pledged for looking after the already planted trees as well as planting of new saplings. The teaching and non- teaching staff of the University also adheres to guide and support the students for the noble cause.
Vice Chancellor, Dr. Prit Pal Singh applauded the efforts of the students and the staff members. Dr. Singh congratulated the students and the staff for celebrating the Gurupurab and wished them to achieve new heights in the academics as well as co-curricular activities in the academic year 2019-20.
