TSPL to plant 1 lakh trees in Punjab in collaboration with the forest department

Talwandi Sabo Power Limited (TSPL) has taken a significant step forward in its commitment to environmental sustainability with the launch of an ambitious tree plantation initiative. The company, in collaboration with the Forest Department of Mansa, has set an ambitious target to plant approximately 100,000 trees across various locations in the region.
This initiative is being executed under the expert guidance of Prof. (Dr.) Adarsh Pal Vig, Chairman of the Punjab Pollution Control Board, and with the positive approach and efforts of Pawan Shridhar, District Forest Officer, Mansa, Sukhdev Singh, Range Officer, Mansa, Harjeet Singh, Range Officer Mansa, Jagnandan Singh, Block Officer, Mansa and entire forest team ensuring a robust and scientifically grounded framework for the drive.
Commenting on the initiative, Pawan Sridhar, DFO Mansa stated, “The collaboration between TSPL and the Forest Department exemplifies the kind of public-private partnership that is essential for tackling environmental challenges. With the expertise of the Punjab Pollution Control Board guiding us, we are confident that this plantation drive will make a lasting positive impact on the local ecosystem, increasing green cover, enhancing biodiversity, and contributing to climate resilience.”
