Update on Muktsar sahib Lawyers Custodial Torture case: accused Punjab police officers released from jail

In the infamous Muktsar sahib Lawyers custodial torture case, accused Punjab police officials are released from the jail after the complainant lawyer Varinder Singh Sandhu takes ‘U’ turn.
After their release from the jail, superintendent of police (detective) Ramandeep Singh Bhullar, CIA incharge Raman Kamboj, head constable Harbans Singh along with their family member pays obeisance at Gurudwara Tutti Gandi Sahib, Sri Muktsar Sahib.
Former senior superintendent of police , Muktsar sahib, Harmanbir Singh Gill also accompanied them and paid obeisance at the Gurudwara Sahib.
Earlier, SP (investigation) Ramandeep Bhullar, CIA in-charge inspector Raman Kumar Kamboj and Constable Harbans Singh of the CIA were arrested for alleged custodial torture of Advocate Varinder Singh Sandhu and than senior superintendent of police , Muktsar sahib, Harmanbir Singh Gill along with DIG Faridkot Range Ajay Maluja were transferred from their posts.
On October 5,2023 28-year-old lawyer Varinder Singh Sandhu had declared that he has amicably “settled” his dispute with police personnel, whom he had earlier charged with forcing him to unnatural sex, custodial torture and criminal intimidation on September 14
