Vivek S. Soni takes over as Rupnagar SSP

The newly appointed senior superintendent of police (SSP ) of Rupnagar district Vivek S .Soni assumed charge of his office on Tuesday at Rupnagar.
On reaching here, he was given a guard of honour was by a contingent of Punjab Police. Senior officers of Rupnagar Police were also present on the occasion.
Talking to reporters, he said that the law and order situation in the district will be maintained and criminal activities will be curbed. He said that the Punjab government has started a special campaign against drugs under which strict action is being taken against drug sellers.
On the occasion Vivek S Soni was informed about various issues and problems related to Rupnagar district, after which he assured that every issue related to the district like from traffic to cities and villages will be resolved. No stone will be left unturned to maintain the law and order situation.
